SIEF PREPARATION (COMPLEX INVENTORY)
What’s next after Pre-registration?
After the pre-registration process of REACH (the Regulation for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals), manufacturers and importers of substances, preparations and intentionally released substances from articles are able to benefit from the formation of a Substance Information Exchange Forum, or SIEF, to share relevant and available data among all Potential Registrants of the same phase-in substance.
Complex Inventory
SGS can practically prepare for entry into the SIEF, collect data required for submission to the European Chemicals Agency and identify gaps to ensure well-informed decisions are made in the forum. Take advantage of SGS technical expertise and global experience to undertake the Complex Inventory of your pre-registered substances.
The objectives of the Complex Inventory are to:
- Collect data available on your substance;
- Identify data gaps (to be ready for the data sharing); and to
- Be ready for the entry into the SIEF (data and cost sharing)

SGS also offers Third Party Representative service for participation on your behalf in the SIEF as well as the preparation and submission of the technical dossier and the Chemical Safety Report as required for Registration. |
